Present: President Darrel Haman, Lillian Domres, Alice Miller, Fudd Larson (briefly) and Lynnette Vollmer (filing as secretary).

Minutes were read and one correction was made with the donation from Alliance Pipeline being $1,000.00.

Old Business:

Red Hat Ladies:

* Will have a salad luncheon @ the Zion Lutheran Church on July 3rd, 2011

* Will be serving Ice Cream Cones from the Gazebo @ 4pm on July 2nd, 2011

* Will need the Itinerary for ALL EVENTS by May 15th, 2011 for placemats they are having made and selling ads for. They will be available in many local businesses and celebrations events.

VFW Hall Activities:

* Lynette will be sure the Hall is reserved for July 2nd and 3rd.

* Was discussed that there should be enough room in the Hall for display of items for viewing along with local booths.

Gun Raffle:

* Wasn't sure if any organizations have been contacted regarding selling tickets for the raffle this summer.

* Darrell Volunteered to contact organizations to fine one that was interested in doing such.

Court House Activities:

* The Red Hat Ladies declined anymore responsibilities to this as they have enough going on.

* If we are unable to find another group to organize the tour and possible outfit wearing, we may have to nix this idea.

Style Show:

* Lynnette was unable to find ladies interested in this activity as it will take much preparing and dedication.

* I will not be able to handle the VFW and the style show.

Yard Signs:

* This was just briefly mentioned as we did not have a specific person that volunteered for this at the last meeting, but all was in favor of continuing with this project. We are hoping to continue with this idea.

Historical Museum:

* This building is found to be owned by Dallas and Warner Knudson. We all seemed to be confused as to how and when that happened but that being the case it is no longer a public building and no one is sure as to what has happened to the items inside.

July 3rd Street Dance:

* Lynnette has volunteered to contact FUZZ N GUNS and find out if they are available to play.

* Since the meeting Lynnette did contact Fuzz on February 22, 2011 at 9:15 pm and he agreed to play for this event. The price will be $800.00. They would like to start setting up approx. 6-6:30pm that evening.

* It was also agreed that Lynnette would contact Cory at the Rafter and Simon at the Longhorn and ask them to pay for half each of half the band price and we would cover the other half. Darrell made the motion for this and Lynnette second it.

Joint Church Service:

* Was mentioned that it would be nice to have a Joint Church Service but to have it held in the PARK and if there is bad weather then to have it at the Zion Church or school.

Classic Car Show:

* No new info on this available

Motion was made by Lillian and 2nd by Alice to adjourn the meeting. Meeting was stopped as there was not a quorum to continue the meeting.

Next meeting will be March 16th, 2011 at 7PM in the School Library.
